I originally purchased the Tamanu oil from Biome for my face. Over the Christmas and New Year I experienced a full body rash which unfortunately was also incredibly itchy.. I tried everything and also spent a lot of money with very little benefit. I seemed it remember Tamanu Oil is also good for Itchy / inflamed skin and Insect bites. I bought some soap and tamanu oil from Tracey at the Tactile Arts Craft fair in 2021. The soap smells amazing and it lasted for ages. I was having trouble with rosacea on my face and the GP prescribed a $60 tube of gel (rozex) to treat it. After using it for a couple of weeks with no improvement I decided to give the tamanu oil a go. After using it only at night for about a week I started to notice a difference and now it has all but gone. I use it for other itchy bites etc as well great stuff.

I bought some of your face oil at a craft market in Darwin and it completely transformed by skin within 48hrs. So much so that my friends commented on it and we’re shocked at how quickly it was working. I’ve always had a battle with my skin either being too oily or too dry, never had a medium. Not big on cleanser as most would dry face out an no amount of moisturizer would help. Wearing make up would make my skin oily. I started using their soap ( Yes I said soap ! ) on my face every third to fourth day and Oh my gosh! my skin cleared up, it felt softer, firmer and I actually didn’t need to moisturizer every day which is a big for me.

I love the unadulterated, nutty, earthy smell of this oil and I add a tiny amount to my moisturiser which makes my face feel soft but not oily. My husband had some stitches removed and I’m positive this oil sped up the healing process in a matter of days. I should have bought the bigger bottle.

After having used a 50ml bottle of this beautiful Tamanu Oil, with great satisfaction, I’ve gone back and purchased a 100ml bottle. I’ve been using it twice a day on burning itchy blistery sores on my arms. It’s been so soothing and has helped with scarring as well.

At first i used it on my arms where i have old scars from barbed fencing and garden work and it was pleasant to use and certainly showed improvement to my damaged skin

However , it really proved itself this last weekend when i pulled a large fallen palm frond from my garden and was attacked by a huge colony of blue and yellow striped wasps whose nest was in the frond.I was stung all over one side of my face,head,neck,& both arms(fighting them off as i ran)and by the time i reached the house one eye was completely swollen shut & my nose mouth and neck on that side were all combined in a large amorphous lump,plus my arms and hands ballooning with swelling.What a mess & my menfolk too horrified to even tease me for how i looked

Your oil was on the bench and i covered every inch of stung skin whit it.

Almost immediately the stinging/burning of the toxic stings stopped

Apart from inconvenience of not being able to see very well i was fine(a bit light headed from the toxins for a short while but not in pain)

Most of the swelling went down over the next two days and reapplying the oil prevented that awful itch that occurs after stings and bites- the oil was absorbed into the skin and left no greasy surface as do mineral based oils

IT IS A MARVELLOUS PRODUCT and i would like to buy some more at the markets this weekend . I have several friends who want to get some to.

I love using this oil in my face oil blend as well as my body oil blend. It is silky smooth, and is the perfect way to replenish my skin after a wash. It has a “green” woody scent that blends well with my favorite skin essential oils.

With age I had developed patches of dried skin about the face. I have used this product once a day for the past 3 weeks and these dry
